Cover Reveal: Inbetween by Tara Fuller

Yes! Another fabulous COVER REVEAL! This time, it’s for a Paranormal Romance novel. I recently learned of this book and was honored to be able to participate in the debut for the cover. Due out on August 7, 2012, I present to you… Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky—and unending—lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option. It’s not easy being dead, especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left…his soul. Add to GoodReads Pre-Order on Amazon Falling in love with a reaper?! Okay, I have to read this 🙂 What do you think of the cover for Inbetween? Will you be adding this to your GoodReads List and/or pre-ordering it...

The Hunger Games: Learn to Be Hungry

All across the world, book lovers and movie lovers alike are anticipating the midnight premiere of The Hunger Games movie this evening, and I can certainly be counted among them. I have my tickets, a Mockingjay shirt, and the Harvest Moon nail polish on my toes 🙂 Passionate? Absolutely! I discovered The Hunger Games series a little over a year ago, much later than many, but not as late as some. I had been avoiding the series because of the hype, but eventually caved and bought the first book – then the second – and finally the third, in short order. By the time I closed the cover of Mockingjay, I was sure of several things: 1. I wished I hadn’t avoided the hype because I would have loved the anticipation and excitement of the release of the next book in the series. 2. I was glad that I had avoided the hype, because waiting for the next book in the series to come out would have been excruciating! 3. Catching Fire was the first book that has ever made me cry. 4. Reading this series was -and is- truly life-changing. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to put into words just what it is about The Hunger Games that fascinates and inspires, and yes, even scares me a little. The wonderful essays in The Girl Who Was on Fire have...

Pretty When She Dies by Rhiannon Frater

Amaliya wakes under the forest floor, disoriented, famished and confused. She digs out of the shallow grave and realizes she is hungry… … in a new, horrific, unimaginable way… Sating her great hunger, she discovers that she is now a vampire, the bloodthirsty creature of legend. She has no choice but to flee from her old life and travels across Texas. Her new hunger spurs her to leave a wake of death and blood behind her as she struggles with her new nature. All the while, her creator is watching. He is ancient, he is powerful, and what’s worse is that he’s a necromancer. He has the power to force the dead to do his bidding. Amaliya realizes she is but a pawn in a twisted game, and her only hope for survival is to seek out one of her own kind. But if Amaliya finds another vampire, will it mean her salvation… or her death? Thanks to one of my BBF’s (Best Blogger Friend), Giselle @ XpressoReads, I gave this vampire novel a try. Giselle is always singing Rhiannon Frater’s praises, although Rhi is more known for her books on zombies, including the As The World Dies Trilogy. While I am convinced that zombie books are not really my “thing” I do love a good vampire story, and this one promised to be exciting and sexy. Thankfully, Pretty When...
